The quality of the enamel is such as your plate not crack with the frost and we guarantee the colors of your enamel plate for life.
The mercury not suiting any more nowadays, we replace it by a mixture of alcohol colored in red. The tube is stuck with some special glue glass. We disadvise you to verify the solidity of the fixation by lifting the tube.Indeed, the glue is planned for a contact enamel/glass resisting requests in the cuttings, in the vibrations and in the bad weather, but the resistance in the tearing is lesser. Thus you should not try to lift the tube at the risk of seeing him coming loose.
